San Juan del Sur, The Moskito Coast, Granada

My friend David Wassmann grew up in Nicaragua, and his family owns land along the Moskito Coast. We also worked on a project together in Finca Popoyo, a resort, so figured it was time to explore the country.

We started off on the West Coast in a tiny village called San Juan del Sur. A small resort with alot of European surfers. Fantastic fresh fish and culture, although we spent a week lounging on the beach.

Corn Islands and The Moskito Coast

We stayed in an eco-lodge on Little Corn Island where they speak “Moskito.” No electricity, no running water. Just the ocean and nature.

Granada – The best little “big” city in Central America

Grenada takes the cake for the best small colonial town in CA. Amazing food and culture, and very inexpensive!
